We were so busy prepping for the NELA Flea that we didn't get a chance to put it in our events section! What promised to be an excellent event exceeded our expectations here at Dr. Clockwork's Home for Electrical and Medical Oddities. It's always nice to come home with a virtually empty truck. We made a lot of new friends and were able to see some old and dear ones as well. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our room!
We debuted our 250kV Tesla Coil and our Jacob's Ladder at the event. It was shocking (see what I did there?) how much the Tesla Coil seemed to catch people's attention. Almost everyone who stopped by wanted to see it in action, and we were more than happy to demonstrate it's power.
All of the other vendors were really nice and helpful, and had amazing wares. We were awed by the quality and selection of toys that were available.
Dr. Clockwork received a very special request towards the end of the event. Our new friend Deuce wanted an electrical brand of the words "hey girl hey" on her arm, and Dr. Clockwork was more than happy to oblige. Dr. Clockwork wasn't able to sit down and spend a lot of time on it, but the result was impressive nonetheless. A photo of the brand a few days after the event is below.
All in all we had a fantastic time at the event, and look forward to the next one in July!
